Independent singer-songwriter Abbie Thomas will perform on the Box Factory for the Arts stage, 1101 Broad Street, on Saturday, April 15, at 7 p.m. Joining her will be two members of her backing band – Simon Hurst on keys and guitar and Caitlyn Faust on violin and background vocals. Tickets available at Ticketstripe.com/abbiethomas are $15 for cabaret seating and $12 for general admission. Tickets at the door will be $15.

Abbie mixes pop melodies with soulful vocals and hints of r & b, jazz, and a vibe from the songwriters of the 70s. In addition to her original music, she mixes in covers from The Beatles, Carole King, Lauryn Hill, and Norah Jones.

Her music video, “Fireflies” has earned over 10 nominations for awards, including one for “Best Female Solo Artist” in 2021 for the California Music and Video Awards and for “Best Independent Music Video” for the Hollywood Music in Media Awards.
